About the Career Fair & Conference:  The Equal Justice Works annual Conference and Career Fair is the largest public interest career fair in the country. It is the only event where you’ll find more than 1,200 public interest-minded students representing 200 law schools from across the country coming together to explore career options with leading nonprofit organizations and government agencies. The Conference and Career Fair provides access to job opportunities for law students; connects employers with talented attorneys and law students; and offers a multitude of skill-building and career advising sessions with experts from around the country. This conference continues to be an unparalleled networking opportunity for students, law school professionals and legal professionals.

 Registration fee:  $25.00 per student.  Students must also bear their own lodging and transportation expenses.

 The application period to submit resumes and cover letters through the Equal Justice Works online system and to apply for interviews with employers is August 15 – September 13, 2012.  Employers will notify students between September 20 and October 4 if they have been selected for interviews.  Students may accept or decline interviews between September 20 and October 11, 2012.
