California Western School of Law and the Career Services Office are hosting the annual Pro Bono & Public Service Honors Society Induction Ceremony on April 5, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Moot Court Room. This is a special “invitation only” event honoring our California Western students for their volunteer legal work with a variety of organizations throughout the community during the past 12 months. Our keynote speaker is Tilisha Martin, CWSL ’02 alumna, who currently works at Dependency Legal Group of San Diego, and is a member of the California Western Alumni Board of Directors. In addition to recognizing our students by inducting them into the Pro Bono & Public Service Honors Societies, we also recognize the following at this event: (1) recipient of the Alec L. Cory Scholarship for Outstanding Pro Bono Service, (2) Summer 2011 Legal Aid Society Anson Levitan Interns, (3) Summer 2011 Josi Dixon PILF Grant Recipients, (4) Professor Linda Morton, recipient of the Father Robert Drinan Award from the Association of American Law Schools, and (5) a very special recognition for Josi Dixon, CWSL ’06 alumna.
