The American Bar Association Immigration Justice Project is seeking law student and recent law graduates interested in working with the Project at least 15 hours a week during Spring 2010. This is a unique opportunity to develop skills and contribute to the IJP’s work with a vulnerable population—mentally ill immigration detainees.

Please submit, by mail or e-mail, a cover letter describing your interest in the position, and your availability, along with a resume, brief writing sample, and references to: Liz Sweet, Director, Immigration Justice Project, 401 B Street, Suite 1700, San Diego, CA 92101 or sweete@staff.abanet.org. Applications for this spring internships will be considered on a rolling basis, but the final deadline will be December 10, 2010.
