While bankruptcy and employment litigation are hot practice areas right now, many other aspects of civil litigation are poised for growth in the near future.  Because many clients have been postponing pursuit of litigation in these tight times, they are ready to launch their litigation efforts as soon as the economy takes a noticeable turn for the better.  With many economists so predicting in the next few months, it looks like law students and new lawyers focusing their skill development and job searches in civil litigation areas may be in demand in the very near future.
